Conditions Supported by Custom Orthotics

Achilles Tendonitis is an inflammation of the tendon at the back of the calf near the heel, which can severely affect walking. A custom orthotic can help correct this issue by providing the necessary support and alignment to relieve pain.

IT Band Syndrome is an inflammation where the iliotibial band crosses the lateral part of the knee. It causes pain on the outside of the knee. A custom orthotic can alleviate pressure and help realign the lower extremities to reduce discomfort.

Metatarsalgia refers to pain in the ball of the foot, often caused by inflammation or stress on the metatarsal heads. A custom orthotic can redistribute pressure, helping reduce pain during weight-bearing activities and providing relief from sharp or shooting pain in the toes.

Morton’s Neuroma is a thickening of tissue around the nerve between the toes, causing pain and a "pins and needles" sensation. A custom orthotic can help relieve pressure on the affected area, reducing irritation and providing pain relief.

Plantar fasciitis is inflammation of the plantar fascia where it attaches to the heel. A custom orthotic helps by supporting the arch and relieving pressure, reducing the pain associated with this condition.

Runner’s Knee refers to pain around the front of the knee, often caused by improper alignment. A custom orthotic, especially with a slightly elevated heel (rear foot post), can improve alignment and reduce pain during running and other activities.
